Skywalks are open into the building from 6 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Please be advised that a temporary generator will be parked for 4 – 6 months in the east lane of 9th Street due to an assessment and repair that needs performed to the building generator. There will be no impact to the building operations during this time as the temporary generator has the same functionality as the building generator. The management office will keep all building tenants informed of any updates that impact them during this process.
801 Grand is primarily executive office space with retail locations on the first three floors.
901 Grand is located directly to the west of 801 Grand in the downtown Des Moines area. 901 Grand is available to tenants and the public for monthly parking. No daily parking is available.
All parking spaces are assigned. To register for parking at 901 Grand please call 515-244-7801 to set up an appointment.
There are ten visitor parking spaces located on the top floor of 901 Grand available for tenant visitor use. These spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. Additional parking is available at the city parking ramp located south of 801 Grand on an hourly fee basis.
801 Grand has three connections to the downtown Des Moines skywalk system. The south and west skywalk routes lead to parking lots while the east skywalk leads to the Kaleidoscope. Each route of 801 Grand's skywalk system also leads to the downtown area of Des Moines.
801 Grand rises 44 stories above downtown Des Moines, reaching 630 feet at its highest point; of those 44 stories, 41 are accessible. 801 Grand has more than 2,000 stair steps.
801 Grand has 970,000 gross square feet (including excecutive office, retail and mechanical designs). 801 Grand’s multiple architectural step-backs, covered with 1,142 windows, provide more corner office space per floor than standard designs.
